• Provide support to the Manufacturing Engineering department
• Apply mechanical engineering concepts in low-volume/high-configurability manufacturing environment
• Analyze and plan equipment and tooling requirements for electro-mechanical product manufacturing.
• Create and update mechanical drawings to meet current design standards
• Create and update Work instructions and other necessary documentation for manufacturing
• Create and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
• Work directly with assemblers, technicians and engineers with a hands-on approach to identify improvement opportunities and problem root cause
• Train manufacturing personnel on new or updated assembly processes.
• Propose and implement efficient work cell layouts in a Lean Manufacturing environment
• Design assembly and test fixtures using CAD software at a basic level
• Recommend equipment, materials and tooling that provide necessary manufacturing capabilities

CAD modeling system operation at a basic to intermediate level; SolidWorks preferred
• Practical understanding of root cause analysis tools and methods
• Basic Statistical analysis of process outputs and measurement systems

B.S. in Engineering; Mechanical/Industrial preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years manufacturing experience with electro-mechanical assembly, product development and test
• U.S. citizenship or U.S. work permit required,
