The Quality Technician would be a team player and work with the Quality Engineers, engineering, and the Operations teams to complete the failure analysis in a timely manner. This is a hands-on position, so suited to those who enjoy using hand tools, electronic test equipment and comfortable working on mechanical assemblies as well as electrical components and PCBA’s
Required education and experiences:
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic discipline or equivalent
· Understanding of quality tools such as 8D, 5 WHY’s, fishbones etc.
· Ability to be able to read and understand engineering drawings
· Experience of testing and fault-finding electromechanical assemblies
· The ambition to find the root cause of the failures and an eye for the details
· Comfortable using Brooks software to operate equipment and to track FA’s
· Ability to use Microsoft suite/365
· Generating detailed reports for the Quality Engineers
This is a challenging roll and industry, so flexibility and an open mind is a must.
